Trimester 2

The module intends to impart to the students milestone events and developments in Europe and Africa which have shaped history not only in these two continents but in other continents as well.It has two parts: the first looks at European history from the French Revolution to the Cold War. And the second part concentrates with African issues, from colonialization of Africa to the post-independence developments especially colonial legacy and neo-colonialism.

Trimester 2

This module explores a broad range of fundamental and topical issues, concepts and lines of thinking regarding Sociology, Psychology and Philosophy. It is central to Social Sciences, aimed at contributing to cultivate quality of thought, and life, notwithstanding its endeavor to maintaining some critical distance between the two levels of things. That is what makes it both exciting and challenging!
