War and diplomacy as instruments of national interest. Internal conflicts and civil Wars.

The module of “Post-conflict reconstruction and peace building” aims to develop capacities of peace building strategic actors to effectively and sustainably respond to the current and emerging challenges and new frontiers in peace and conflict mitigation. The module components aim to provide theories and professional skills on post conflicts reconstruction and peace building process.  This includes transitional justice and all post-conflict reconstruction mechanisms as well as conflict management theories and practices across the world, in Africa, in the Great Lakes Region and in Rwanda’s post-genocide reconstruction process

This module first gives a general introduction to weapon systems by giving their characteristics, generic models, operating cycle and their lifecycle. It furthermore specifically focusses on guided weapons by providing their classification and explaining their operating principles

 i. To introduce students to the nature and full concepts of scientific Research.

ii. To introduce students to qualitative, quantitative and mixed approaches in scientific inquiry

iii. To teach students the conception, elaboration, data collection, analysis and discussion of results, and redaction of scientific research report.
