The module will advance the understanding of the principles of psychopharmacology and help students develop a comprehensive understanding of the uses, efficacy and cost effectiveness of medications in a range of psychiatric disorders and therefore allow them to develop critical awareness of the advances, advantages and limitations of pharmacological intervention in mental health.
