This module has been designed to enable students to deliver effective medical nutritional therapy to patients/clients with various disease conditions. Students will learn the Etiology, Symptoms, Risk factors, pathophysiology, and nutrition management of various disease conditions. The module uses the Nutrition Care Process steps to make the units more practical and accessible.
In this module, we are going to explore the science and application of Medical Nutrition Therapy. You will learn how to design tailored, evidence-based nutrition care plans that can truly transform patient outcomes. We will cover everything from MNT in GIT disorders/symptoms, pancreatitis, liver diseases, kidney diseases, neurological and psychiatric, musculoskeletal, pulmonary disease, critical care and so on. My goal is to equip you with the practical skills and confidence you need to apply MNT in real-world healthcare settings.
