Semester I

The Mathematics Department decided to enhance the regular ICT Skills course taught in Year 1 by introducing a special package. As a result, the course has been divided into two parts: one taught by the IT Department and another taught by the Mathematics Department. This part focuses on the component of the ICT Skills course related to the special package delivered by the Mathematics Department.

This special package focuses on advanced Excel and programming with R, adding valuable components to the regular ICT Skills content. The program aims to equip students with advanced Excel skills, including formulas, functions, data management, and manipulation, serving as an introduction to programming concepts across various software and programming languages. Furthermore, it introduces students to R, a free software platform that provides a solid foundation in programming and statistical data analysis.
