Junior Clerkship I in Pediatrics and Child Health

Welcome to Pediatrics and Child Health Department.

This module consists of 10 weeks full-time practical based in a pediatrics department with special attention to the introduction to clinical pediatrics. It is aimed in imparting skills in:

i. History taking in pediatric population

ii. Systemic physical examination for children

iii. Application of knowledge of basic sciences including anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and histopathology.

The professionalism and ethical conduct will be emphasized throughout your clinical placement.

The formative and summative assessments will be carried out to ensure that you have met all intended learning outcomes.
