    health policy process

    • Understand the concepts of actors, power, and system value
    in the policy process
    2. Describe the health policy analysis framework and explain
    how various factors interact to influence policy.
    • Analyze Health Policy Process and illustrates the interdependence of
    different elements of the process
    • Analyze the central roles that actors play in policy processes

    3. Explore and analyze the Rwandan health policies;
    4. Understand the challenges of health policy implementation
    and describe the theory of Street- level bureaucrats;
    5. Define and understand the concept of cooperation and
    Globalization in health care context;
    6. Develop advocacy and knowledge translation strategies
    relevant in influencing health policy change;
    7. Develop a policy brief and policy memo;
    8. Conduct a stakeholder analysis to identify and analyze the
    influence of different stakeholders in policy making
