Human pressure in recent decades, since 1980 has modified the large area of land use of Gishwati -Mukura landscape ecosystem with production system( cattle ranching and agricultural farming system), even continued between 1990 and 2005, due to the settlement in the area which results in unknown ecological effects.Hence spatial variability assessment of soil quality in agroforestry zones and silvopastoral sites along transect from Gishwati-Mukura landscape should  be undertaken.
