The unit describes the use of clinical interview in research and in therapy. Definition of clinical interview in research, types of clinical interview in research, importance of clinical interview in research, limits and steps in conducting clinical interview in research. The course provides also an overview of clinical interview in therapy, the basic skills of communication, qualities of a good psychotherapist, theories and steps in clinical psychotherapy.
