Health Information Security

This module enables students to understand security issues in health information systems and how to mitigate, contain and eradicate them. The module focuses on developing a comprehensive understanding of the principles for securing information systems environment. 

Core topic areas include: application security, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, cryptography, information security governance and risk management, compliance, physical (environmental) security, security architecture and design, and telecommunications and data security.
